What I'd do with the prize money
I would use the money to develop a project to meet young people who’ve recently arrived in the UK (e.g. refugees and asylum seekers) and hopefully inspire them to study science subjects.
I’m interested in mixing science and language and I run a French-speaking Café scientifique in Glasgow and in Edinburgh – open to anyone who can understand French and has a curious mind. I’d like to extend the concept to reach more people, e.g. refugees.
