• Question: Have you ever seen the Northan Lights? How are they made?

      Unfortunately I haven’t seen any directly, even though some are sometimes visible at our latitudes in Scotland (sometimes as far south as Wales and England).
      They are produced by the interaction between energetic particles coming from the Sun and atoms and molecules in the Earth’s atmosphere.
