Personally, I don’t think time travel is possible, but it’s very difficult to definitively prove a negative, especially when it’s theoretical, because you can always come back with different ‘what if’s.

However, the famous Professor Steven Hawking recently did a clever experiment which might help convince you that time travel isn’t possible (at least in our dimension). He threw a big party, with food and music, and decorations which included a big banner saying “welcome time travellers”. He sat in this room, all by himself for hours, and nobody came to the party. Then later, he sent out invitations, via the internet, social media, etc; inviting time travellers to join him on that date.

So maybe people who can travel through time just didn’t get the invitation, or maybe they don’t like parties, or maybe they don’t want to reveal themselves, or maaaaybe time travel is not possible….

Actually, I’ve invented time travel. In a distant future. 😀
