Question: do you think there will ever be a cure to every illness/ disease

I really hope so but this seems like such a big challenge with research at the moment! There are lots of different diseases that we are yet to discover and every disease is a little bit different, the same as every type of cancer is a little bit different. Finding a cure for them all would take a lot of time, experiments, researchers and determination!
