• Question: how often do you look at the sun

      With a naked eye, never! With a small telescope, from time to time. With a big telescope (like the big ones you see in superb remote places like on the Canary Islands), once a year or less. But I look at the Sun daily using the internet to see how it looks like in different colours (different wavelengths) from Earth and from space. We’re lucky enough to have several satellites and Earth-based telescopes watching the Sun 24/7, which is very helpful for the research I do.
