      Hmm, tricky question!
I think the best way to handle a difficult situation or problem is to break the problem down into smaller pieces and ask myself firstly what happened and how it happened. Next, I’d think about what I might need to do to make things better. Take small steps to sort the problem out and it makes solving it easier.

If I feel I can’t handle the problem on my own, I’d ask somebody I trusted to help me and tell them about what happened. Problems seem a little less scary if you talk to somebody about it and get it off your chest. They also may have had a similar problem before and know how to solve it!

Finally I’d think about what I could do in the future to prevent the problem happening again. If the problem keeps happening, I would definitely talk to somebody like my supervisor (if work-related) or my parents about it.
