  Okay, is this a question? Because I think I disagree slightly with you there Science Guy.
  
  We are not surviving all types of mutations, cancer is an accumulation of mutations and is unfortunately killing a lot of people at the moment as we hope to find treatments and cures for the 200+ types of cancer that exist.
  
  However, I do agree with you that modern technology may have an effect on the process of natural selection!
