I haven’t really ‘invented’ anything, however in my previous research group, we managed to develop a tissue-engineered model of the tonsil in the lab so that we could study the effects of tonsillitis on cells. I think that was pretty interesting 🙂
I’m in the same boat as Amy, I haven’t really invented anything as such but in my masters project I developed a way to do a 3 step reaction that usually takes multiple days into 2 hours and in a safer way. And I recently put a paper into a journal to show how the work I do right now could be used to detect RNA in urine (pee) for use in diagnosing diseases one day 🙂
