      In my job, it’s a but of a cliche, but you need all of the usual skills:
      planning and time-management
      communication
      patience and resilience
      data analysis

      I also use my scientific background on a regular basis, and I do lots of internet communications, so sometimes I have to do some computer programming or tinker about with code. Also, I rely on my colleagues to keep me up to date with their progress, so I have to use lots of social skills to keep our professional friendships strong and productive.
