Hi, I’m not quite sure I understand your question. Do you mean what will I do with the money if I win I’m A Scientist Get Me Out Of Here, or do you mean what will I do once I have finished my research?

If you mean what will I do if I win the money, I will set up an event which aims to help people in the local community get involved in science and research projects. This will mean that people can volunteer to give blood for people who are looking at the differences in healthy people’s blood and people with blood diseases (I am researching this field at the moment). Also, members of the public can join in scientific research by telling us the best way to share our research with you! As scientists, we don’t know how many people are likely to read scientific research papers or read new science articles about the new treatments we have for diseases, so is it better for us to tell people using social media or in newspapers or handing out information sheets on the streets? We need your help to figure this out 🙂

If you mean what will I do once I have finished this research project, I would like to do some more research projects about blood cancer then hopefully set up my own research group. I hope to do this once I have completed my PhD 🙂
